Ok. Now before you all start commenting and complaining, that Weevily World is a Bin Weevils blog; it is also my blog and I like to have other things to write about, besides weevils! I’m still working on a VWG Virtual World Game of my own and still playing lots of other games, while I do so. One of those games is Fantage.
So if you’ve no interest in Fantage, please feel free to skip this post; I’m sure you’ll find lots of other great Weevily World content to enjoy! However, if you play, or are thinking about playing Fantage – especially as a non-member - the information in this post is for you!
Like most VWGs, Fantage players earn currency to pay for in-game items. Fantage has two currencies: stars and ecoins. Stars are earned playing games and ecoins are earned by watching advertisements. Whilst members can earn stars quite quickly, if you are playing Fantage as a non-member, earning stars can take a very long time. My first Fantage tip is to help earn stars.
Here’s Fantage judisue and her new pet Pixie, collecting seashells. Seashells can be crafted into wearable items, which you can also sell for stars. The Seashell “board” that judisue is riding, is one of ten items to craft from seashells!
Buy the premium Seashell Costume to Earn Extra Fantage stars:
To collect seashells you need a Seashell Collectors costume. There are two costumes: one regular, one premium. The regular costume costs 2,200 stars. The premium costume costs 2,500 stars but can only be bought by members, unless you buy one with ecoins.
It is well worth watching enough ads to buy the premium costume, so you can pick up all of the eleven seashell types to craft, then sell, all ten items. If you have the regular costume, you can pick up only three types of shell and craft one, low star value item.
You can buy your Seashell costume at the Beach or the Island.
Fantage seashells are collected from three locations: the Beach, the Island and the Lighthouse. Which shells appear for collection is random and if you don’t have the premium costume, you’ll spend a lot of time going from location to location, hoping to find the shells you can collect. If you have the premium costume, you can pick up a shell from each location.
Fantage seashells are in the same place every time. Look up at the Beach, go right on the Island and go right at the Lighthouse. Click on a shell to collect it. Travel between two or all three locations to collect shells quickly. The map below shows the locations.
Find Fantage Seashells at The Beach, The Island (circled) and at The Lighthouse (where the “me” arrow points!). Mouse over Fantage map areas to discover the location names. Click on the map locations to visit.
Once you’ve collected enough shells to craft an item, the crafting menu will pop-up, or you can click on the Seashell Collection vending machines,at the Beach and on the Island. Follow the instructions in-game to combine shells, to craft items.
The ten Fantage Seashell Collection craft items are: two bracelets, two necklaces, two sceptres, two crowns and a board (as pictured above). You can “wear” the items, which comes in very handy at Beach Fashion Shows and of course, you can sell your crafted items, for stars, at Bob’s Trading Post.
Here’s Fantage judisue and Pixie, outside Bob’s Trading Post, in the Fantage Forest. You can sell your crafted seashell items here.
The Fantage Seashell Collection items sell for between 660 stars, for the board and 270 for the regular costume bracelet. If you’re brave, you can gamble your stars on the spinning wheel. You could get as many as 4,400 for the board or 1,800 for the bracelet but don’t forget, if you take a chance, you could get less!
Seashell items can be sold, at Bob’s Trading Post, with other Hair, Clothing, Boards and Accessories, on Mondays and Fridays.
For convenience, the bullet points below, summarize all of the above information.
- Watch ads and earn ecoins.
- Use ecoins to buy premium Seashell costume.
- Wear costume to collect shells at Beach, Island and Lighthouse.
- Combine shells to craft seashell items.
- Sell crafted seashell items at Bob’s Trading Post.
Note: Whilst I may make more Fantage posts and posts about other virtual world games, Weevily World remains the number one Bin Weevils resource, for all game tips, glitches and in-game news!
