Hello Bin Weevils!
I think the new Ice Castle nest theme is absolutely bin-tastic and I couldn’t wait to start decorating with it! I’ve even given judisue another, icy-cool, new look! I’m hoping there will be more items available in the new Ice Castle theme and if there are, I will definitely be creating more new nest rooms with it but I wanted to share my newest room with you all, straight away!
And so, without further ado, here is my new Ice Castle themed bedroom:

The new Ice Castle nest theme currently comprises of: a wallpaper, floor and ceiling, a bed, a table, a chair, a mirror, a ceiling light and some bunting. As there are only these nine items available, I’ve added coordinating items from other themes and chosen some contrasting coloured nest items, to brighten things up a bit!
The jug & bowl item and the rug are from the Medieval theme, while the cloud table, blue drape and red hanging light, all come from the Fairytale theme. I’ve included a clock, a hot chocolate mug, three coordinating Scent Flowers, from the Tink’s Tree theme, a sea shell collectible from the Under-the-Sea theme and the blue lollipop table lamp, comes from the Sweets theme. The Fire Flowers are standing on cabinets made from kitchen units and glass work-tops and of course, there is a bin pet hut for meg! The Nest Inspector mirror is a mystery code item and you can find the code for it on the Codes by Codex page.
The Ice Castle theme items are all available from Bin Mart, but sadly, they are only available to Bin Tycoons and even if you only buy one of each item, it will cost you 49 DOSH and 11,900 Mulch!
Here are the item details:
I thought judisue looked just a little bit out of place, in her new Ice Castle theme bedroom, so I sent her along to the Bin Weevil Changer at Dosh’s Palace and gave her a cool new look! Not that she will be keeping this look for long! To get the third star on her Style Icon Bin Badge, judisue now needs to change her look on ten different days!
I’ve always enjoyed watching the videos that some Bin Weevils make and I’ve been wanting to make one of my own for a long time now. So, after viewing the brilliant video that Decks1 made, during yesterday’s Weevily World Flash Mob Parade, I downloaded the free Screencast-o-matic app and got to work.
Like most Bin Weevils players, my first video (which of course you can also view on YouTube) is a tour of my nest rooms, plaza and bin garden.
And here it is!
I’ll definitely be making more Bin Weevils videos and the easiest way to view my videos and my selection of Bin Weevils videos, made by other people, is to download and install the new Weevily World community toolbar and then just click on the special YouTube button!
The final part of this post concerns fundraising for Red Nose Day, which this year is on March 15th. I’ve set up a special Team Weevily World Giving Page and I’d like you all to join in and help Team Weevily World raise as much money, as we possibly can!
Whether your planning an event to raise money or if you just want to donate some money yourself, anyone who wants to, is welcome to join Team Weevily World. So far we’ve already raised £5.33 and I only set the page up a few hours ago! To donate and/or join Team Weevily World, please click here.
I’m going to put my thinking-head on and see what I can come up with, to raise money and awareness, for this year’s Red Nose Day. So far, I’ve given judisue a red nose (which you can see at the bottom of this post) and thanks to SeanLego, we will be having a Red Nose Day Flash Mob Parade!
