Mrdisco's Weevily World review of Best Nest Issue #23

Hello Bin Weevils!

The Nest Inspector has released a new issue of Best Nest! Mrdisco is here to review it and has picked out some of the nests lucky enough to be featured in Best Nest. I will be giving a star rating on each of my chosen nests and, hopefully, giving you some inspirational advice on how to improve your nests! Congratulations to the Weevils who were featured in this issue of Best Nest!

Storm_Cloud’s room is absolutely fantastic! The layout is perfect with a slight symmetrical look to the room. By adding the other furniture that matches with the Rock ‘n’ Roll theme, such as the candy floss machine and number 8 ball,really fit in and give the room a cool look. But most importantly I would like to pick up on the fact that the symmetry in the room is brilliant, Its inspired me to do some similar stuff!

Mrdisco has gave Storm_Cloud’s room a 4 and a half star rating because of the layout and symmetrical look! Also, the way Storm_Cloud has matched other nest items with the room .

Cool0420′s room caught Mrdisco’s eye, This room shows great layout of furniture and colour scheme! Cool0420 has a dominating colour, red, which is brilliant. Dominating colours always look fantastic, sometimes its good to pick primary colours like red, yellow and blue but its also good to use green, pink and orange! I would also like to pick up on the walls of this chosen room. The walls are pretty full up with posters, windows and photos and this looks awesome. Warning; sometimes if you over crowd your walls it doesn’t look right but as you see Cool has done a brilliant job of it!

Mrdisco will be giving Cool0420′s room 4 stars because of its brilliant colour scheme and the very slick decoration on the walls and ceiling!

Teddybear3135′s room also caught mrdisco’s eye! The way the room is set out into a Rock ‘n’ Roll cafe is just magnificent. The ceiling also looks great with all of those spotlight’s on it, it really brightens up the room! The shelves also reflect the cafe look, which is wicked. The tea set and orange sweets look really cool next to each other. Most importantly I love the breakfast bar set up over on the left hand side of the room, yet again layout is brilliant!

Mrdisco is giving this room a star rating of 3 and a half, because of the cool cafe look and brilliant layout!

Mrdisco’s tips

1. Layout. One of the most important things to qualify you for best nest is layout. As every one of these pictures shows, layout is really important! Maybe even try a symmetrical layout like Storm Cloud?

2. Dominating colours are a great way to show off your favourite colour and reflect personality about yourself! Go out there and get a bright orange or neon green as your dominating colours!

3. Wall and ceiling decoration. Many people focus on the floor decoration and items that belong on shelves and surfaces but walls and ceilings look just as good, when they’re decorated! As is said don’t go over the top with wall decoration.
