Hello Bin Weevils!
The Nest Inspector has released a new issue of Best Nest! Mrdisco is here to review it and has picked out some of the nests lucky enough to be featured in Best Nest. I will be giving a star rating on each of my chosen nests and, hopefully, giving you some inspirational advice on how to improve your nests! Congratulations to the Weevils who were featured in this issue of Best Nest!
Fridayschild’s room caught mrdisco’s eye, the main theme is underwater and the room itself is very colour schemed, which is great! The blue Candy Clock at the centre of the back wall matches the other furniture and the windows showing the lake syncs in with the room very well! Great effort fridayschild, this is the second time you’ve been in Best Nest. Well done!
Mrdisco has gave Fridayschild’s room a magnificent four stars for structure of furniture and brilliant colour scheme!
Mrdisco also noticed Gemzie2103’s room and thought it was excellent! The way the seats and cupboards are set out in a chess board scheme look brilliant. The red colours also go great with black and white, the red wallpaper and vases of roses really tie the room together It gives off a very comfortable feeling, which your weevil could snuggle up in the winter nights. Also I’m loving the small trophy display on the cupboards!
Mrdisco will be giving Gemzie’s room a star rating of 3.5 because of its chess board look and the mix of colours!
Mrdisco’s final pick out of Best Nest is ezzyelf’s room. Yet again the mix of colours is absolutely brilliant, this room also displays lamps on the cupboards and shelves and this idea is really cool! The rooms is very bright and shows a has a beach window on the back wall, which also brightens it up! The whole room gives a bright, hot and summery feel to it. Ezzyelf also puts toys on the floor and tables, with no doubt this room is perfect for a bin pet!
Mrdisco is giving this bright room a wonderful four stars for the colour and display of bright items!
1. As every one of these rooms has showed the colours mean a lot in a room. Try to add a lot of bright colours if you are hoping for a light room but if you’re not then simply have dull and dark colours!
2. Remember that the structure of furniture is really important! As Fridayschild had showed a good structure can mean the difference from getting into Best Nest and not. Keep it spacious and not over crowded, however don’t let your rooms feel empty.
3. Originality. This is possibly one of the most important things to qualify for Best Nest! Like gemzie has displayed an original design of room is one of the best kinds of rooms. Even if you pick a theme and add your own furniture to the room this, also, looks great!
