Hello Bin Weevils!
Voting is now closed on the Weevily World Bin Weevils Blogs Awards. However, when I opened the awards, I didn’t expect the storm of controversy that ensued. I have received so many complaints about the “fairness” of these awards, that I have declared the entire poll null and void and instead, I have decided that our winners will be determined by actual blog views.
To do this, I will need access to blog stats. So, if your blog was included in the original list and you would still like to be part of the awards, please send me a contributor invitation, if your blog is hosted by WordPress, or the equivalent if your blog is hosted elsewhere.
Please Note:
1. Included sites from which I have previously accepted any type of invitation, need not send a new invitation.
2. Invitations will only be accepted from blogs originally nominated and are solely for the purpose of statistics analysis.
3. Winners will be the blogs which received the most views in the month of October 2012.
4. Invitations must be sent before December 10th 2012. Winners are expected to be announced before 17th December 2012.
5. No further correspondence will be entered into, regarding these awards. Comments may be approved but might not be answered.

I very don’t like this idea in fact I’d find it more unfairer than before. I agree the poll may not have been fair but there are other ways to do this. No correspondence. You have actually took one idea. But how do I “Improve my views” its just luck that i’d improve them. Also people could easily cheat this way! How? By just simply logging out of WordPress and keep typing in their Web Address and keep coming on, then off. On, Then off! There are defiantly other ways to do this that could prevent cheating completely!
If they did that it won’t matter because Judisue is using views from October, keep up.. this is November!

Stats on Weebly are wrong!! If someone visits your site 10 times a day (same person) it counts as 10 visits on wordpress it counts one person one time a day. But on weekly someone could keep refreshing hundreds of times….

No, I’m ditching the whole thing. Only about 6 blogs provided contributor invites. Some of the original blogs have been deleted and lots of them don’t even update any more. There were only just over 400 votes in the first place and the only people who care about this are people who just want free advertising for their blogs. Plus loads of the blogs have a user on them that I choose not to promote. The whole thing has been a colossal waste of my time! However, your blog is good and it’s popular too, so if you put up a link across the top of some of your pages recommending Weevily World, I’ll happily do the same for you.
